This year like my last should be bountiful of tomatoes, green peppers, onions, green and yellow beens, cucumbers, beets, corn, and radishes.
Last year I had a problem with my salsa sauce because it was runny and this year the plant seller said I should have use Italian tomatoes for that.
On that note is anyone else a canner here?

I don't do any canning, but I've got a lot growing again this year. So far I've planted:
corn
green and yellow zucchini
artichokes
asparagus
potatoes
green onions
three kinds of cukes
green, red, and yellow bell peppers
three kinds of tomato
five kinds of lettuce
spinach
snow peas
celery
strawberries
raspberries
blackberries, thimbleberries, salmonberries all grow wild around my property
Swiss chard
garlic
chives
rosemary
tri-color sage
dill
parsley
cilantro
The big (old) apple tree and plum tree are both going to have tons of fruit this year, but I think my two-year old peaches, Braeburn apple, and cherry need another year before they put out any fruit.
Roses, iris, and peonies are all about to bust open. Fuchsia have been blooming a few weeks. Dahlias are coming up. Wisteria, lilacs, and azaleas are just about done blooming.
One chicken is sitting, the others are laying, and all is right with my garden! :)

That must be allot of weeding all year or do you use mulch everywhere.
