Scott McClellan Gets Another Slap - From Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Say What? (http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/scott_mcclellan_gets_another_slap_from_democrat_te rry_mcauliffe_say_what/)

While Scott McClellan’s tell all book is being received with a sort of masturbatory glee by the far left and the rabid Bush haters, it seems that he isn’t winning any friends (http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/05/mcclellens-book.html)in some mainstream Democratic circles:
Hillary Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe tells the National Journal’s splendiferous Tammy Haddad that he doesn’t care for former Bush White House press secretary Scott McClellen’s scathing memoir.
“I never like it when someone works for someone and then comes out and writes a book trashing them,” quoth the Macker. “I don’t care if it is politics or life. If he was that upset about everything, he should have quit. Remember, Gerald Ford’s press secretary quit when he disagreed with pardoning, Ford pardoning Nixon. If you don’t agree, then get out. And I just, I find it abhorrent the way these people come out and write books about their boss. It made ‘em money, it made ‘em prestige, it gave them all this power, and then they turn around and slap ‘em. I just, I gotta tell you, I just uh, I don’t care who it is—Democrat, Republican—it’s wrong.”
When Benedict Arnold betrayed his country and his Commander-In-Chief, George Washington, the British took him in and gave him a safe haven and high rank. BUT - they never fully trusted him and treated him with cautious disdain.
I wonder who on the left, despite their joy at McClellan’s betrayal, will ever trust him enough to let him into their inner circle?
He’d better enjoy the proceeds from his book because he’s done.

Yes, how true.

I'd like to see that scummy *protect your asses at all costs* Terry McAuliffe answer that question.

It is far less important that McClellan kissed and told than it is what he revealed about the machinations of the thoroughly dishonest, coldblooded regime in power.

well not really. He claims he was too misled by the admin. He did not KNOW he was lying. He just said what he was told to say.

However the real ? should be why.
Why,is McClellan really selling out his former boss, who he
was close to and gave him the opportunity to be Press Secretary.
McClellan was quite impressive on -- Meet The Press -- Today.
Was direct,well-spoken and forthcoming.
Answered ALL those pesky Leftist Russert query.
He did it with grace and tone.Never came off as disgruntled,
which is what the scuttlebutt has it,or with peevish disdain.
He was just doing what he felt he owed the public, being felt as
a propaganda tool for Bush's War.
His assessment of former friend and boss, was probably true to form.
But it doesn't square with what he said, last fall about a book/memoir.
I believe,as many others',someone got to Scott,to help
enrich those pages for Liberal fang-glee at the cost of ever again
being embraced by a Bushee.
What a price to pay for Glory.
Sheer selling out.

Wasn't McAuliffe recently giving praise to Fixed News?

that alone shows a lack of credibility.

Give it time.
Arianna Huffington didn't do it overnight.
