I read the story but didn't see the video.

According to the story, it appears the motive for the slaying was robbery, not the woman's race.

Also the story says she was shot 3 times in the torso.
The victim's name indicates an Oriental or Indian person, not Caucasian, but that's not important.

It was a horrendous crime. When caught, the killers will face a capital sentence.

They went into her store for money. They murdered her because she was white.

I would say they murdered her because she could identify them, which is usually the case in cases of felony murder.

The victim was of asian heritage. This would be the very definition of hate crime, imo. A black man wielding a gun, shootin an innocent unarmed woman and killing her for no reason.

I don't know if we can classify this as a true hate crime, when the apparant motive is robbery. Seeing as how felony murder is a capital offense anyway, what additional punishment could they add to their sentence besides making the rope longer?

The time for children to respect their bodies and stop making Girls Gone Wild videos and YouTube beating videos. It's the time to stop our 13 year old children from using the F word in every sentence. But you are not having a race discussion. You made the robbery/murder into a race issue where it is clearly not. Can you tell me the black-on-black crime rate compared to the black-on-white crime rate?
