(Maybe a little harsh, but how else can I put it?)

I'm feeling a little on the reminiscing, as well as the curious side today. I would like to know which member on these boards, in your opinion, has had the worst, most frivolous posts, one that has done the most senseless acts (posted nude pictures of him/herself and others for no reason, bragged about themselves, etc.), or those who just don't know when to shut up with they're digging themselves into a hole. In general, members that have done the stupidest things over the years and have been verbally beaten without mercy because of it. Maybe even share a story or two. Just a little AFN nostalgia going here...enjoy at your own will.

It would definitely have to be manlyhose for me. He never really added anything - and of course there were the pictures . . .

I hope this thread doesn't get to mean-spirited.

TENTMAKER, without a doubt.

UNmanlyhose was the worst, I started posting about the same time Tentmaker left. He(tent) was a pain in the arse but atleast we didn't have to see it

Obviously i'm new enough to not know who these people are...but I did check out some of their posts through searching for them. Tentmaker seemed to like rambling and ranting with lots of cursing and what-not.....though I have to say that manlyhose is the worst, thanks to reading his post about Joy Berry being rude and evil to children (sorry to bring back harsh memories, but....well....yeah). Plus, the time that he showed his ugly ass on this forum.....well, thank god i wasn't around for that.

At least manlyhose didn't stick around for a long time...Tent acquired 600-odd posts.

I didn't like Tent from the moment I discovered this Forum, and did everything I could to discourage him from posting further. Manlyhose was simply an insult to anyone and everyone. Shaman is an idiot who happens to have access to the Internet. Many folks appear to be forgetting mopo, the resident, self-acknowledged coward.

I'd totally forgotten about Tentmaker - but Borg is right - that guy had to take the prize - nobody else ever came close.

Maybe we should email him and invite him back just for fun

Don't even kid about such atrocities, Drew. I'm pretty sure the board members would riot.

i'm thinking tentmaker, too. i did a search for his posts and found his "scum-sucking liberal" threads. what an asshole.

i kinda wish that i had discovered this forum while he was still around, so i could tell him just how much of an asshole he is.

He'd just call you a "scum-sucking liberal", write a ten-page post on why you're a scum-sucking liberal, then he'd remind all of us how close to a god he is. (He actually did compare himself to a deity, can't remember where, probably in the Religion forum.) It was funny, though, because when I became a mod for the first time, he posted a lot of garbage on how much of an insult that was and that was what drove him away. I found it amusing at the time. :D

Gee, you dudes are makin' all the newcomers here DROOL at the
thought of readin' whateverthehellitwuz that we missed!

I remember a history teacher I had way back in the daze of High School who had a PROFOUND respect and admiration fer his own opinions. One day he went on and on and on and on about some of his notions at great length, finally finishing his commentary with: "...and this isn't just the opinion of some TRUCK DRIVER!"

Well, a few minutes passed and then he backtracked kinda sudden-like with "Uh, now for all you students who have truck drivers for Dads, I'm not trying to insinuate that blah, blah, blah, blah..."

His trepidation wuz most amusin' in a sudoriferous kinda way...

Well, gotta run now! (But don't worry, not fer... office...)

;)

I almost wish I was around for the tentmaker and manlyhose days...i'm sure I'd have hours of fun making fun of them for their outrageous posts.......but I guess we have Shaman for that right now...

Manlyhose didn't last very long...and Tent was so frustrating, you wouldn't want to make fun of him.
