I'm glad pitt won over the rangers, but it was kind of hard to watch. I mean grew up in Pittsburgh and watched Jagr along with Mario take the pens to two consecutive cups! So, I wanted the pens to win but at the same time I wanted to see Jagr score in his usual unbelievable shooting!

Jagr sold the penguins out long ago Mesk..... Myself being a Penguins fan I could NEVER root for a rival like the rangers,or the Devils....DEFINETLY not a Jagr rangers!!!!!!!!!!

It would be like a Wings fan going for Coloraldo,or a Flames fan rooting for the Oilers.

Jagr DID sell out when he left, but that does not take away his amazing play (like a true super star) with Mario in the cup years and a few years after that. He is the best. I remember seeing him down at the strip district (not that kind of strip) and bars and clubs. He's alright.

But now its Malkin and Crosby who are like the old Mario and Jagr. Those kids rock!!

Funny thing, we moved to Pittsburgh in 1979 and that year was the last year the Steelers won last of their 4 superbowls (yes I know they have 5 now, I'm getting to that). I was 9 years old. I followed and followed them my whole life but they never won in 27 goddam years. In 2005 I moved to Dubai, AND THEY FUCKING WIN!!!!

Then in 2007 I moved to Florida and now the Pens are winning. Maybe I was just bad luck for the sports team in Pittsburgh.

This is going to be a great series.
The problem will be, who should I watch? Pistons or Red Wings.

yes they are and I hope they don't follow the same pattern they have everytime they make it to the finals. They play away games and get their asses handed to them. Then they come home and win some more.

false hope there Mesk... Pittsburgh is just delaying the inevitable. They have a marque player,but they are up against a marque team... They had a great season though,they should be ashamed about anything. they will be a powerhouse in the NHL
If your a football fan,then dont give up hope. Steelers are a lock for the division if the Bengals defense doesn't get it together early on. (doubtful) the browns are done before the season even starts (sorry Carbon) and the Ravens are a few years from being any kind of force

I have really payed attention to Pittsburgh this year during the playoffs,and i agree Malkin has developed to a very high caliber player.

Have Pittsburgh remain a Stanley cup level team for a decade and they can enter 'Marquee' status like the Wings have rightfully earned.
