The Peoples Republic is considering leasing land in Latin America-Australia and Former Soviet countries to beat rising food prices.
The land in production could replace Chinese farmland lost to rapidly growing cities and industrial zones.
Surely this would put pressure on already high food prices in the west, and lower the amount of food circulating in third world nations.
