View Full Version : Iron Man
I just got back from seeing Iron Man. It was fan-freeking-tastic. I thought it was very well done. Some movies in that past that featured stories/characters that went from comic to movie sucked, this one rocked. I felt it dealt with the main character very well. It wasn't choppy or seemingly segmented. The dialog was good, there were several very funny instances. I was also pleased to see that all the action was not given away in the trailers, something I am wary of these days. It was a good story and very good movie.
Stay to the end, to the very end of the credits.

This was an awesome movie. I'm not a big fan of comics made into movies but this didn't have that kind of feel to it. Although I felt the villian was given away too early in the movie. I knew early on who it was,I hate when that happens. But otherwise I'd rank this one up there with Cloverfield as one of the best I've seen this year so far.

I think it will actually turn out to be a whole other movie not "Ironman 2". The extra minute after the credits was worth it to find out there will be more.

thanks for that Dharma

Only because you asked, I didn't want to ruin anything. The additional scene is that Nick Fury contacts Tony Stark for help. Next movie could be another Ironman or it could be the Avengers. It's just a peak into the future, I started staying to the end after the Pirates movies kept adding things. I thought that was neat in those films too, especially the last one.
