But of course it doesn't happen in real life. This is an awesome scene from Boston Legal where Alan argues before the Supreme Court against the death penalty for a non-homicide case. He also takes time out to say what millions of Americans are thinking about the Supreme Court's job performance lately.
They don't say it, but I assume he loses his case, because... well, it is the Roberts Court, after all.
I considered putting it in television, but it is a clip of political nature, so I think it fits here better.
