Rush Limbaugh gets totally PWN'D (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/04/24/draft-limbaugh-gets-pwnd-by-caller-over-his-wishing-for-a-operation-chaos-and-white-riot-hangs-up-on-her/) by a caller over his "Operation Chaos" and wishing for "riots" at the Democratic convention. She very nicely and articulately takes him to task for being a hate-monger.
El Rushbo's grand comeback was to call her a "mush head".
How very reminiscent of some posters on here.

He's a master at digging dirt on democrats and liberals. I just wish he would acknowledge that the things he accuses them of doing, his very own beloved republican party is also just as guilty. He's right most of the time, but he's also purposely ignorant of putting things into context.

Limbaugh does have a huge problem admitting err.
It's his achilles' heel.He suffers the sin of Pride.
I doubt he can overcome it.It's part of his charm.
As if making his persona tick.
The woman caller also said she was a regular listener for years.
She was obviously Lying. Her entire intent was to push into

Too funny and WAS inappropriate.

No more so than you'd support Randi Rhodes for her "wish" that American troops return home in a body bag to bolster her party's position on the war in Iraq. Limbaugh was guilty of essentially doing the same thing. Both comments made were political, and both comments made were disgusting (however, not equally, IMHO).

dharma is in full flea mode... let him run out of the back door and run from an argument he can't win. He'd rather redirect an argument, or go in detail on a technicality than admit he's wrong on a broad topic.
Rush is partisan, no doubt. He needs to acknowledge that republicans aren't all good, and that all politicians, well.. almost all, are in the same boat. Trav is correct in saying that Rush is right on some accounts.. I agree with a few things Rush says during a broadcast if I happen to catch him on my way home from school.. but I also sit there and am just in awe on how partisan he is. Even though he is RIGHT, he's irresponsible.
Oh, and that picture, about getting kicked off ESPN... he might have gotten kicked off, but he had a valid point. Donovan McNabb was playing horrible, but yet was the most visible element to the NFL. He was being crammed down our throats even though he sucked for the first entire half of that season. Take that into account plus that fact that the NFL benefits from having an african american hero to promote.... and it WAS a "social issue", as rush had the balls to say and was kicked off ESPN for actually saying it.

Yes, you heard me correctly. His contention isn't that Rush has "the power to make democrats act like the intercity masses they represent", but that he has "the power to make 'undercover' conservatives act like they do (at their convention, no less)".

According to Talkers Magazine, somewhere between 13 and 18 million people per week listen (unfortunately) to the pathological liar in question.
That's roughly one fourth of the number of ignoramuses it takes to send a failed businessman/former cocaine user/AWOL from the National Guard/lying about WMDs so as to foment a war/extreme Rightwing imbecile to the White House.

The corporate and governing elites are helping themselves to the spoils of victory. Politics, when all is said and done, comes down to who gets what and who pays for it -- while the public is distracted by the media circus and the news has been neutered or politicized for partisan purposes. Take the paradox of a Rush Limbaugh; ensconced in a Palm Beach mansion inciting the resentment nationwide of white-knuckled wage earners, who are barely making ends meet in no small part because of the very policies of those Corporate and ideological forces for whom Rush has been an unflagging cheerleader.

failed businessman? That's a stretch, he was in on ownership of the Texas Rangers.. did they go under?
Former cocaine user? Why don't you give him the benefit of the doubt like other presidents... he probably "never inhaled"...
AWOL? Better than not serving at all. The whole "service = presidency" thing is not proven. Ulysses S. Grant sucked as a prez, John Kerry wasn't looking to good.. You don't need a shining 5-star general to be a president.

I'm not egotistical enough to consider myself perfect... hence the sometimes.
It's a shame people have gotten used to that kind of attitude in here.
I try my best, but when somebody is purposefully disrespectful to things that are held dear to others.. I will make fun of something held dear to him. An eye for an eye? Normally I'm a pacifist, but this is the freakin internet, and this is a debate forum... I'll be able to sleep at night.

If you think he wants to, and you think he can, you must believe riots will happen.

Can I hold you to that?
No.
