How many Canadians read allforums?net.

If you are Canadian then maybe you found this site as I did. I'm sure there a message board out there with allot of Canadian stuff in it but waiting a day for a message to post is not an open forum. Also the web space might not agree with your own views. I believe allforums would always welcome new membership and if not then I believe this board has nothing to offer to Canadians.1714

By their very nature--being on the internet all open forums are international .

how many posts will this go without seeing "Canadian news should go in Not News"???

seriously, i think U.S. News should be National News, and World News should be for international issues, but that's just me.

I'm not sure what to vote for here. I wouldn't have a problem with making the U.S. News section into "U.S. & Canadian News" I guess.

Ho w about "North America" news?

Yeah that's what I suggested in the thread that started this idea... Include Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

Which I still think is a good idea, but I notice that's not one of the voting options.

I participate in a Canadian forum and while most of the news is about Canada I have never had a problem introducing American articles. Why are we making a mountain out of a mole hill?

Under the present configuration, Canadian news would go into the World News area. North American News has a nice ring to it, but our South American readers are likely to complain. Why not: News from the Americas?

Then we'll have Europeans complaining. The forum is fine as-is.

This thread probably should have been started in the forum feedback section --it's really a suggestion, not news :slap:

Seems I'm the only one (so far) who thinks there should be a Canada Politics & News forum. However, instead of revamping the entire site, I can't really see why someone doesn't start a thread with that name in the World News section as a place for Canadians to gather and exchange ideas & info. Same advice for people from other countries. Nothing is preventing anyone from doing that now.

See now that's a good idea. A reasonable person would probably come up with something like that. But Canadianreader doesn't want to be reasonable... He just wants to start as many Canadian threads as possible in U.S. News, presumably so that someone will pay attention to him and change the title of the section to include Canada.

It isn't really unreasonable for CR to want to start Canadian threads. Most of us, including me are too provincial. There is news other than U.S. news and there are posters other than Americans. Maybe I'm in the minority but I am interested in what is happening in America's hat.

I like to hear about happenings in Canada too, I just think they should be put into the right section. If he was posting threads about El Salvador or Jamaica in the U.S. News category, and I said he shouldn't post them there, would you say that I'm "too provincial" and don't care about what's happening in those countries? He can start as many freakin' Canadian threads as he wants, if he puts them in World News.

OK so my Canadian posts are in the world news section. That is anti Canadian and bashing Canada, and I would be a traiter continuing here. If the board changes so Canadian have an equal playing field here then this board would florish.

You're absolutely correct. You would be a traitor to your country by posting your opinions on this obviously anti-candien site.

Keep on fighting the good fight fella. :hitout:

Once again, until there is a section just for your precious Canadian News anything pertaining to stories not within the U.S belong in World News. I'm sorry if you take this as anti-Canada and see it as bashing but Canada is not in the United States you dolt!

Maybe we should have an 'Irish News' section. It would be more interesting than Canadian News, and more craic than some of the shit in US News.
