What do people prefer??

I think analog sounds and looks MUCH BETTER (More bass,more natural,etc)

Generally i think ANALOG is better.. Cell phones used to sound better when they were analog.....

I think they made a bad choice to abandon analog,it is MUCH BETTER..

Do you like anything made after 1989?

Cell phone never sounded better when they were analog. Unless you're really fond of static, anyway. Same goes for analog cordless phones and baby monitors (my current source of irritation). I'm not very fond of analog hiss on tapes, either. If you like bass, just take crank up the bass on your CD player and turn down the treble. And play it through tiny speakers to simulate the lack of highs and lows of analog recordings.

Sorry, that was a bit of a rant, wasn't it?

I had one with my oldest daughter and instead of picking up her crying or fussing it would pick up our neighbors kid crying. I tossed that thing and said forget it when my second daughter came along.

The phone I use in The States is digital unless there is some problem and then it switches to analog. Don't ask me how it does it because when it comes to technology I am the anti-geek.

The phone I use when traveling is a satelite phone so I guess it is digital. I like it because I can call from almost any country in the world with no difficulty and have no monthly fees. I pay only when I make a call.
