I go to make friends with the staff and just make friends in general basically (I dont really go on any rides very often,i would rather help out (More fun to me))

I'm with DF; I love it all too. I miss the Florida State Fair, what with its greasy cheesesteak sandwiches, funnel cakes, and deep-fried candy bars.

But if it's a fair I'm after, I'd prefer a faire to a fair.

they bore the fuck out of me. no nude dancers and no freaks. just a bunch of overpriced food, drinks and rides.

i went to the state fair of west virginia twice in my life. once when i was 12 and once when i was in my late 20's. the only thing that changed was the prices. same shit, different day.

I think i go to be apart of the hype that people make it.
