I have a degree in science and was in charge of all elementary science for a large school district. I would have felt like a dummy if I couldn't do eighth grade science. Now if it was eighth grade math that would be another story.

The electric charge of a neuron? Did they mean, by chance, neutron?
(8/8, despite the stupidity involving neurons and neutrons)

8/8 also, and I didn't think I could pull it off! I had to double-check that neuron question as well...

The neuron question is tricky because the electric charge changes from negative when resting to postive when firing. Neurons are nerve cells that send information by means of electric charges. None of the answers are really correct because not enough information is given concerning what the neuron is doing at the time.
The nucleus can be considered the brain of the cell. That's really simplified but sort of tells that it is the controller of cell functions.

You might be okay at science but you suck at math, Smartie.:lolhit:
I can go you one better. We had a luau at good old Boca Del Vista (what my son calls our condo complex) and guess who won the prize for best costumed woman...............me. I dressed up in a grass skirt, a hat with a parrot on top, and a cute, feathered bra. I took apart a mop and made some nice, long hair. The prize was twenty five bucks so it was worth it.

I got 8/8.
It feels like a general knowledge test. Questions that might come up on Trivia competition at bars.

Senior Frogmeister, I'm with you on the neuron / neutron load of crap.
I know what a nucleus is, I was wondering what a nuclues was. If you could give me a new clue, I'd appreciate it.

Yes. As I said, they confused a neuron with a neutron.

Funny, Mike. I needed the mop because the Yorkie kept jumping off and chasing cats.
