as in Amp Motorworks, the future maker of a 100% electric
car,to debut it's prototype, sometime by the end of this quarter.
Taking orders for '09 at the end of this year.
The Car will be a Saturn Sky 2 seater and will have no internal
combustion anything. No Drive train, therefore No Transmission.
The car will have a range of appx. 150 miles between charges,
which take appx. 3 hrs.
The car is no slouch. They formulated a 0-60 mph of around 5.7 sec.
That is very fast.A New Mustang GT {V-8} is around 5.1 -5.3 sec.
With an all new Electric motor, with only ONE moving part as opposed
to a standard internal combustion engine of hundered's of parts.
Remember ... No Gas... No Pollution ... No Oil or regular maintenance.
Price is projected at $50,ooo.
The Compnay is comprised of 2 Tech guys with Engineering degrees
and the site of production will be Cincinnati, with cooperation of
a local Saturn dealer.
They explained it's kinda like what Carroll Shelby did with his company
of late, taking stock Mustangs and Goosin em up as in a Shelby GT.

Amp? I use a '67 Fender (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fender_Twin_Reverb) with JBLs.

I still play guitar.Usually when I decide to get drunk.Bout every
6 months.I have a nice electric guitar, that is really good for the
money.A Peavey w/humbucking pickups.It has a nice slim,strong
neck, stays in tune and has a good feel. However,I do get blisters
on my fret hand, after a session.
I Have a great AMP.It's a Transtube Peavey BANDIT 112.
Just one 12" sheffield speaker and 100 watts RMS.
I'm quite familiar with JBL's.I used to be an audiophile.
I have Bipolar Definitive technology BP-20 Loudspeakers as my
front speakers in my home entertainment system.
They go down to 18 Hz ... legit.
Better than most any subwoofer.
