By the welcome from Canadian troops

"We are very much being treated like the pretty girl at the dance and it is fun to be in that position," said Col. Peter Petronzio of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit

We must of had an extra leg up on them.

Since all the Canadians I've ever met are unfailingly polite, it only makes sense that the Canadian military would be as well. "Don't step there, eh? It's a landmine."

I hate to say it, but all the French people I've met totally lived up to the stereotypes. French Canadians are all quite nice, although not as creepily nice as Canadians from British Columbia.

Don't we all.

I will have to agree with Trav on this one - my experiences in France were not all that great. The French march to the beat of a somewhat different drummer than do many of the rest of us.
