If we would just build some pebble bed reactors, we'd reduce water use, increase power output, reduce dependency on oil, reduce burning coal, and we'd have a cheap, clean source of power for plug-in electric vehicles for literally centuries.

That's kind of my point, we need to look further than just "electric cars".
