The annual Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival has kicked off across the city [first I heard of it].

Musicians from Belfasts twin city Nashville in Tennessee will join talented local writers on stage to perform sols and in the round.

Among the performers is Nanci Griffith who returns to Belfast after headlining at the Cambridge Folk Festival 07.

I think nobody wanted twined with a city were people carry guns, drink all the time,fight with the police and dont get on with their neighbours.
