I read it when 1984 was the distant future.

am i the only one that remembers Orson Wells reading the ending on TV. that was chilling.

I read it. Great book, loved it... Had to read it for school in 7th grade...

His book Animmal Farm is even better

In 1984 I was in ninth grade. I decided on my own that I would read the book, just because it seemed like a good idea. I got about half way through it. Then my book bag was taken from my gym locker. I found everything else, strewn all over the shcool, but never found that book. I must of pissed of someone, but I never tried to read it again.
