I had to read Animal Farm in 7th grade too. I liked 1984 better.

Its amazing that way back then they were talking about the big brother scenario which we see today-in Europe anyway.

In 1984 I was in ninth grade. I decided on my own that I would read the book, just because it seemed like a good idea. I got about half way through it. Then my book bag was taken from my gym locker. I found everything else, strewn all over the shcool, but never found that book. I must of pissed of someone, but I never tried to read it again.

Yeah... in 1984 my parents were barely out of high school and hadn't even met. :p
