Why is it that the US has taken this long to charge the people they believe are responsible for the attacks on 9/11?
Has it taken this all this time for them to confess, which is strange as Bin Laden openly bragged about it immediately afterwards?

And why is the trial to be held in a foreign country instead of in the USA, surely somewhere like New York would have been a better venue?

Due process....It isn't exactly like they robbed a liquor store and there is a video tape of the event. The 9/11 attacks was a complex set of plans and many people held different roles in the planning and carrying out.

again it has to do with due process. He openly bragged that his organization was responsible. It was our job to investigate and decide who did what exactly.

Are you serious? There is no way they would get a fair trial on American soil let alone new York

but it probably took awhile to get a confession from the torture.
but i wouldn't rely on anything from torture.
