well, 2 years ago i started having pain in my joints and ligaments from mild to severe from old injuries, growing arthritis problems, etc..
the other day i got tired of it and trying to solve it with aspirin or ignoring it. i went to the local health food store (actual health food store, not a GNC) and got a 60 day supply of glucosamine/chondroitin (organic,etc.). within 24 hours the pain STOPPED. 2 days later i went fishing (i set out poles for bait fishing and then wander the banks jig fishing) and later in the day went coon hunting. that night i had only a slight twinge of pain in my hip.
this stuff is working. i believe it worked so fast is due to i didn't wait TOO long before doing something.
stop moving due to pain, and start getting old mentally, then you fall apart physically. not me.

i've been using that stuff of years! and let me tell you, it works wonders when it works (it runs at about 50%)...if it works for you, keep at it, if you stop, it will too!.

i have to do what i can. i'm too active to not to.
the more you sit, the worse you feel, the more you sit, the worse you feel, the more you sit.................
i thought excercize and stretching would help, but it didn't. the damage i've done to myself is far too much. i'm just glad i didn't wait too long to start it.
i'm now 43, and as time marches on, the body naturally starts to fall apart.
i'm not planning on dropping dead in bed or in a chair. i'd rather just wear my body out.
where's he at?
see those buzzards circling on that mountain?

I believe my joint pain is caused from Either Psorisis and/or sleeping on bed bedding for so long....... (My old mattress/pillow i had for 20yrs went bad and i stupidly got a new one instead of trying to fix what i had..... BAD MOVE...... All crap made today, the pain started shortly after i got the new bed and pillow last year)

Im glad you feel better Primitive Man :)

Yes but it didnt used to bother me on my old mattress (I had it about 20 years and the material used and quality were 10000% better than the crap out today! (Same with the pillow))

I just bought a new bed about 4 months ago and i've never slept better in my life. I get a solid 8 hours and wake up refreshed almost every nite. No offense intened, but maybe you should have shopped around a little bit and found the right bed for you. The amount of coils in a bed makes a HUGE difference in how a bed sleeps. At least for me.

I've learned to live with constant, low level pain in my hips, neck and shoulders. I figure it is part of getting older. I hardly notice it unless the pain becomes temporarily more severe as it has this past week or so.

That's true. I've never slept beeter until we got a Serta Sleeper with pillow top. The right bed makes such a big difference.

I've never tried glucosamine/chondroitin, will have to check into it.
