The default skin appears to be having some odd sort of problem in Gecko-based browsers. Internet Explorer is not affected. Setting the skin to the old-style Orange eliminates the problem, but you end up stuck with the old orange skin. We hope to find a solution soon.

How-to: Change your default skin.

-Go to User CP
-Go to Edit Options
-Under Style Set, choose Orange
-Click Submit Modifications

Have you tried Mozilla running in Linux?

If I still had Linux running on my machine, I would. But unfortunately, the hard drive my Linux is on is still in my old machine and I have yet to transfer it over. The problem is fixed, though, with the current skin.

I have Mozilla running in RedHat 9.3 (which I'm not in love with -- another story) using a US Robotics pro modem. Using the same dial-up ISP, it runs a full 50% faster than on windows, no pop-ups, miniscule chance of a virus, and no Bill Gates snoopware to worry about.

Thought I'd throw this out there for whatever it's worth.

Well it's the same thing if you use Mozilla in Linux or Windows. I run Mozilla Firebird here in my WinXP environment.
