Multiple UFO Sightings in Stephenville, Texas

Aliens in Texas? Channeling Robert Stack: Residents of Stephenville, Texas are staring ominously at the night skies after several dozen reports of UFO sightings last week. Witnesses -- including a pilot -- all claim they saw what appeared to be a massive craft with strange flashing lights, traveling lower and faster than an airplane. Others say they spotted jet fighters chasing after the object.

As expected, federal officials say there is a "logical explanation," such as light reflecting off passing planes, for the Jan. 8 incident. But residents of this town, about 60 miles southwest of Fort Worth, remain unconvinced. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts," pilot Steve Allen was quoted as saying.

Whatever the explanation, maybe the Minutemen can switch some of their focus from illegal aliens to extraterrestrial ones -- at least until things calm down.

(check out some of the blog posts... pretty funny. Especially the ones questioning whether this is actually a publicity stunt for the Kucinich for President campaign!)

I especially like this quote...

I've seen 'em. The last one I saw scared the bejesus right outa me. I was standin on the front porch of my trailer takin a leak and heard a noise. I looked up and saw a UFO. It looked like a giant pulsating anus.

HAHAHAHA!!!

Ok, all humor aside, I saw two UFO's in two days and they were in the same exact place, flying over the freeway in So. Cal. I was working at McDonnell Douglas and while sitting in a traffic jam (like usual) heading home from work, I saw a glimmer of light flying, actually drifting over the freeway.

It looked like a glimmering telephone pole in a horizontal position, just floating over the freeway. I looked around at the other drivers to see if anyone else could see it and NO ONE even noticed it. I watched it go a few miles until it was out of sight. I seemed to go lower and lower, like it had a palce to land or sumthin (???).

I thought it was rather odd but what's even odder, I saw the SAME EXACT THING at the same exact time in the same exact area the following day. And again, NO ONE looked up and saw it.

I told my bro about it and he said there have been many reports of sightings just like that one and it's called it a 'flying door'. Say what?? He said it's a probe sent out by the Mother Ship - oh, ok  - and it's un'manned' and just surveys the area and takes the info back to the Mother Ship where the beings are.

Oh, that makes sense now.

He said it's very hard to see but when the light hits it, it glistens. Yes, it sure did glisten, no joke. He also said that when it turns, it looks more like a door because it's shaped like one. I didn't see it turn so I just saw the 'jam' of the door, so to speak.

So I saw a flying door not once, but twice in the same location at the same time the following day and never saw it again after that.

That's my story and I'm stickin to it cuz this is not a joke at all. Oh, and I wasn't high or drunk in case yer wonderin'.

No, I was totally STRAIGHT both times I saw the flyng door. Honest!

Oh sure, I may have gotten a buzz after I got home, but not on the way home.

Yup, there is definitely sumthin out there. Good gawd, my bro saw a HUGE craft that was all lit up and flying slowly, so they followed it and saw it hovering over a bank building and all the guys in his car saw the same thing. They were floored! Ya, they may have been a little high on weed but they ALL saw the same thing.

Anyway, I hope the aliens you work with are decent aliens. Maybe you should ask them for a raise, hmmm?

While many eye-witnesses are questionable in citing alien or UFO sitings... there is undeniable evidence that objects have hovered and cruised over our cities and towns. Is it a government project? who knows, but these objects have been captured on film and pictures.. and have been seen doing seemingly incapable maneuvers and speeds. They even have been seen coming out of the water, starting a new revolution that aliens might be deep in the pacific....

I know it sounds like "crazy talk"... and aliens aren't the only logical answer... but what I have seen on tape is indescribable.. and most of the credible testimony all describe the same type of craft in most sitings.

Update on this story.

First the military said there were NO aircraft in the area... then yesterday, they admitted there were NUMEROUS F-16s doing practice flights over Stephenville the night of the UFO sightings. Also seem to be hinting that what people saw were actually the military jets shooting rocket-seeking flares. Yeah, right.

Funny thing is, several people reported not only seeing a UFO on January 8, they also reported seeing military jets chasing it, but unable to keep up. Of course their allegations were dismissed since the military said there were NO jets in the area... until yesterday

Very interesting, eh?

Yeah, even if it takes them a couple of weeks to come up with one!

And I'm sure multiple F-16s training in the skies over Stephenville, Texas, shooting rocket-sensing flares is either done all the time and people were so used to seeing it they never noticed them on Jan 8th... or maybe they use their invisible 'stealth' planes and the citizens have never actually seen them in the past.

Either explanation makes no sense.

Either the military was lying when they said there were no aircraft in the area at the time of the sighting, or they didn't know where their own aircraft were at the time of the sighting.

Any way you look at it, it's troubling.

Although officials at the Naval Air Station Reserve Base in Fort Worth initially said none of their planes were in the area of the UFO reports, they changed their story Wednesday, saying that 10 F-16 fighter jets built by Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE:LMT) were training near Stephenville, about 70 miles (112 kilometers) southwest of Fort Worth, about the time of the sightings.

You can nearly understand how the military could say none, then say oh wait, there were one or two... but TEN? Come on now, folks. Somebody's got some 'splainin to do here.

LOL @ Ren... sorry, doubt if anybody wants your boss. I've got one of my own I'd be glad to donate.

One of the columnists in the local paper wrote today that he'd volunteer to go with aliens if he had the chance. I think I would too. Just to satisfy my own curiosity.

Would YOU go with 'em if you had the chance??

I'm tellin you... there is definitely enough evidence to at least suggest that UFO's, ones that seem to be not of this earth, exist without sounding like a looney.

I have to agree, Decka. But also agree with what Fool said... it's hard to believe there's any kind of govt cover-up that's been going on all these years without somebody 'selling out.' In fact, that's even harder to believe than the existance of flying saucers!

I wouldn't go with them, no, smarty. I'd be too scared. And like, if they could stop time, when I got back to earth, everyone I knew would be dead.

PS. I'm with Decka--I think there's a very good possiblity that we have been/are being visited by entities from "Outer Space".

Why don't they stop and set a spell and drink some java?
We're not THAT bad!!!

I'd have to go, Ren. If for no other reason -- I can't believe an 'advanced civilization' would come here to do us harm. If they're smart enough to get here, they're probably smart enough blow us out of the universe, if that's their goal.

Yep, I'd go. Take me a thermos of starbucks and some oreos and win them over to our side.

:woohoo:

I agree that they're way more advanced than us and mean us no harm.

It'd just be wierd traveling 500 gazillion light years and not being able to stop to use the ladies' room.:D

Somebody did (http://www.klas-tv.com/Global/story.asp?S=3369879). Following which, he was ridiculed, harassed, and basically driven into hiding.

I don't necessarily believe everything Bob Lazar said, but even if it was all lies, what could he have hoped to gain from telling his story? The reality is, once he spoke out, he became an object of ridicule and derision. No thinking person would put themselves through that, which could explain why nobody speaks up.

So do you think there is more evidence to support the existance of UFO's than there is to support manmade global warming?

Interesting article. Right up to the point where ole Bob said he didn't believe alot of the reports people tell him about encounters with UFOs.

Maybe there's a secret society out there made up of people who KNOW what's going on, but can't tell us. You know... like the Freemasons???

*looks over shoulder*

Um, never mind... forget I mentioned that, OK?

Scientists are using the "Residue Theory" which states that not all theories can cover 100% of everything, but only 90%.

The other 10% is Stephanville, Texas.
