This is a very interesting and emotional documentary on innocent people who are wrongfully imprisoned for decades and then released after DNA evidence proves their innocence. Many on death row. It is possible that up to 5% of people in US prisons have been wrongfully accused. Most of the time it is a case of mistaken identity. The documentary focuses on seven men who are wrongfully imprisoned for decaded. Then after they are released it is not so easy to get back into society. They are exonerated but it is still on their record. One guy said they told him it would cost $6,000 to get it off his record. Even though he was innocent. Sometimes it seems like the police and prosecutors just want to have a conviction. You would think there would be some sort of compensation too don't you? Not the case in many states such as Flordia where the poor guy was falsly imprisoned for 22 years and had to spend it in solitary confinment. Some of these people and The Innocence Project have got some states to offer compensation though. It took a long time. It is almost like our justice system is worth more that an individuals personal justice. If you want to see flaws in our justice system you certainly will get it here! Definitly worth seeing!!!!!
