Excuse me while I gloat a bit. I know I don't post down here that much, but I hope you will let me have my say.

My whole life I've been a football fan. Only two teams ever did it for me.
Professionally: The Pittsburgh Steelers. Collegiate: WVU Mountaineers.

I don't jump ship or teams when things go bad, which makes the good times all that much better.

WVU: Don Nehlen took a laughingstock team of losers and took them as far as he could. We finally matured to beat Penn State every now & then. We started to win enough to go to a bowl every now & then. However we found that we had problems winning them. Basically he did as much as he could and in time the game moved beyond him. He stepped down after finally taking the team to a bowl and winning it.

The replacement Rich Rodiguez stumbled at first but then got things going and going strong. WVU goes from a team worthy of moderate respect to a finalist this year for the big game. Sure we lost that opportunity by losing to Pitt, but trust this long time fan. That sucked, but wasn't the end of the world, and we got the Fiesta Bowl. Cool!

Then Rodiguez turns on all of us and bails to go coach Michigan. I'm not naive, any coach works towards getting an opportunity like that and we all know in today's world the money has to be good. What pissed me and the rest of the state off is how he bailed before the big game. For me and most if he had just waited until after the bowl game then so be it. Dissapointed sure, but not filled with hatred.

Well tonight a bewildered but determined WVU played Oklahoma, yes that Oklahoma. Tonight we won 48 to 28, trust me the game was much closer than the score. The team pulled together and did it. So knowing full well I don't have to watch my language I just wanted to take this opportunity to send out a little mesage to Rich Rodriguez.

Ahem. . . FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING RETARDED GREEDY SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay, we won! I didn't watch most of the game because I don't care that much about college football. If I was rooting for a team though, I'd root for WVU.

I can't care about college football... everyone leaves after 2 years most of the time, no rivalries are built. Of course there are SCHOOL rivalries, but to me the most interesting rivalries are between players.

Don't worry Pendragon...THE Ohio State University will beat Rodriguez and the Wolverines annually, like usual. :)
