For once <and the only time in my natural born life>, i agree with bcs on something. i do think oklahoma should be in the title game. i do think USC should be playing oklahoma in the nat'l champion game. K state is to be commended, incidentally, for their spanking of Oklahoma.

You agree with the BCS, yet you contradict your argument by saying USC should be in it? Clear this up for me if you can.

I disagree on one area. LSU and USC both won their conference titles and OU did not...so why are they in it for the national championship despite not being ranked at the top of the AP or coaches polls?

Simple...we leave the decision to a machine...and if you leave every simple or complicated task to a computer...what are humans going to do?

What I agree on is this...USC get's two advantages out of being placed in the Rose Bowl...double the tickets for more fans, and a possible split national title. Nobody loves K-state more than USC, since K-state's win is what got them to #1 for the first time since 1981...however I still think its wrong that they're being prevented from the national championship game. I wonder what else the BCS can simultaneously prevent...

ya it is pretty retarded. But since its up 2 the machine, i guess its correct in some way. i would like to have seen ucs in the national championship rather than ou. They deserve it.

i think OU is still a better team than LSU, no matter what the coaches or the press say. i fully expect ou to go out and stomp the living daylights out of LSU. i also expect usc to slaughter michigan, and we will have yet again another split national title.

i personally would prefer a playoff system as well. i think OU would beat any team in the nation in a playoff system... unfortunately i don't make the rules.

I agree that OU will stomp the living whatevers out of LSU...I think the USC/Mich game will be close, but USC will pull through and win...leading to a split national title. Some people think we should revert to a pro playoff system, while others think that a simple tweaking in the BCS system is all that is needed.....WELL WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GET TO THAT?!?!

Yes, we all hate the BCS, but its better than the old system, where we would have had the top three teams each playing in a different bowl game.
