i got two hermit crabs from petsmart last night.BOY ARE THEY CUTE!the wierd thing is they didnt eat any of the food i gave them last night. i looked up a lot of info on them and their food pyramid is basically the same as ours but without dairy! it said they were big on the fruits and veggies,so i gave them a cut up grapefruit and some small cut up carrots.idk maybe they nibbled on it at night.but it doesnt look like they touched it! they are healthy though. oh and ones name is Riley but i cant think of a name for the other one.

j/k.duh.but yeah they are pretty cute!and they finally ate today!some bread....now they are sleeping.they are more night creatures.but they are fun to watch and to take care of.

my friend's daughter has a hermit crab,she's 6 and takes care of it on her own. I always wanted one when I was a kid,but I don't even have the patience for my cats these days.

When I was younger my brother and I would get hermit crabs whenever we went to the beach, and our cats loved to try to get them and eat them. Then when we lived in Costa Rica of course they were running wild all over the beach.
