This particular circus contains live animals,including elephants,girraffes,horses,and other exotic,maybe even endangered animals! why is this bad you ask,BECUASE THESE ANIMALS ARE CONSTANTLY LOCKED UP IN TINY CAGES AND ABUSED! visit circuses.com and you can get the info on how the animals perform unatural tricks all for the entertainment of humans! they are made to do the tricks by being constantly beaten and abused and deprived of food!!! almost ALL animals are taken from the wild! if they refuse to perform THEY ARE CUT WITH BULLHOOKS,BEATEN,AND SCREAMED AT! its disgusting!

Dude - my heart strings are pulled just as much as yours when I see those photo's of the cute dog in some uncomfortable situation.

This world is filled with bad unpleasant shit & for sure the circus is a distraction from that - I don't need your sick circus videos runining that for me.

If you want to find a crusade against injustice then there are probably about at least 1 million causes out there you could choose - in the grand scheme of things the circus is not high on the list.

So 10 out of 10 for enthusiasm and demonstration of empathy but,

If you have a hard time grasping why we are superior to animals then really there is nothing much I can say. You picked a cause that sounded cool - but it isn't really that cool at all. I like animals - we have a dog & 3 cats - but I have zero issue with the circus and I wouldn't lose a lick of sleep over how circus animals are treated & the thought of crusading against the circus is something kind of weird in my book.

My guess is if animals could talk - 99% of the circus animals would tell you mind your own business and quit trying to ruin their gig.

Cirque du Soleil is fantastic - i've seen them a few times, and no animals - but the performers are Canadians and they are therefore obliged to keep them in cages and vice up their balls to ensure a good performance.

well they are. if theres any way to help stop animal cruelty, it isnt destruction of public or private property, or SCREAMING at the top of their lungs holding up pictures of skinned animals. that just fails to get the point across cz your not telling why it is cruel. sure they have been very successful at times, but other times they are ineffective. my goal is to get to the point on why hitting an animal to make it do tricks is,in my opinion, wrong. and yes i know not everyone will listen bc they have their values. but maybe there will be some ppl that didnt know about it b4 and will realize. you never know. PETA is very disrespectful of others. they destroy property (throwing red paint on ppl) and go so far, that ppl dont even pay attention to what they are fighting for in the first place. they only pay attention to the ridiculous acts being portrayed by PETA. im not bashing them, sorry if it sounds like that,bc i do respect them for wat they are trying to do,but goodness.

yeah i know ive thought of that. hey im sorry i got all emotional last night. i was in a bad mood. not cz of the circus thing though. but anyway maybe i shouldnt protest it. would it be better if i maybe just took a camera inside and found out if they did? u no like document it?
