I actually agree with this sentiment.

Not that I care much about individual animals, but I care about species of animals. Creating one species takes an enormous amount of evolutionary work. Undoing such creations within what is relatively a blink of an eye is the greatest sin of humanity IMO.

Of course, for those anthropocentric people who think human beings are the only living things worth consideration, scientific achievement is fraught with examples of humans borrowing technology from the animal kingdom.

Maybe this global warming thing isn't so bad after all...Most of New York State up around 70 degrees yesterday. Didn't have to wear a coat to work. Of course if I was one of the people that lost their homes yesterday due to the freaky January tornadoes I might have a different opinion. But those tornadoes were in Kentucky and Tennessee and other Red States. They don't believe in global warming anyway...

Most of Ontario had record highs, disrupting the Canadian arctic weather patterns and wind flows. Weather is indeed becoming more extreme. Woudn't it be funny and ironic if it made all of Cali rain-soaked like Seattle? And made New Jersey like Malibu? Totally awesome Dudes...gotta get my board waxed up! Hellllllo Pamela!
