Why don't you eat pig? What's wrong with them? And another thing someone once told me about the rules of the meats that you can eat (Laws on killing a chicken or cow properly). The techniques were thoughtful... Killing an animal without it making it suffer... Right? But how to you kill fish?

Curious, many of the Old Testament laws had to do with simple sanitation. Pork was hard to keep fresh if you know what I mean. The purpose was so that they (and I'm sorry but I think that it is in the book of Dueteronomy) wouldn't get the same diseases that the people groups around them did.
What happened was that the Jewish religious leaders of time set up laws around those laws that were already in exsistance so that no one would be guilty of breaking God's law.
Therefore, what started out as, "Do not boil a young goat is his mother's milk," became, "Don't eat a roast beef and cheese sandwhich.
At least that is what I understand.

Actually, my sister who is muslim said to me that the man who performs this must first recite a prayer, then with altmost care slice at the vein located at the neck with a very sharp knife... With this the animal bleeds to death but without the convulsions that appear upon animals whose heads have been severed from their bodies (Have you ever seen a chicken move around after the head has be chopped off?)... Pretty much if you see the bodies shake and stuff that's the soul trying to come out... but after the head has been cut... She has told me that when the juguler has been sliced open the animal drops to the ground and sort off go to sleep calmly, without the whole shakiness business...
Anyway... That's nice... I guess... But I was just wondering? Muslims and jews eats fish right... So how do they kill the fish without them suffering (In their words) I mean taking them out of the water defeats the purpose plus they can't breath anymore, so they suffer before they die, anyway?... What kind of crap is this!
