Man,does this Country ever need another Great American
like Walt Disney.Of course he was irreplacable. Will never be
another Man,like em.It was said often,as I grew up as a Kid,
That Walt Disney DID more for this Country than any President
since the Founders. It was universally accepted.
Mr.Disney brought more wholesome entertainment and
healthy Disposition to our Land, than any American.
He looked like a Grand Man.Talked like one too.
In the 50's and 60's Sunday Nights at 7PM were dedicated
to the - The Wonderfull World of Disney -.Nothing,either before
or after, came close to the impact and thrill almost every American
Family enjoyed when that Disney fireburst display of color
splashed the then new colored TV's.Even those w/o such TV's could
enjoy those familiar Cartoon voices and Wonderfully poignant
stories or Nature documentaries.
It's been said that people often do things in their life to be
remembered or for a Legacy.
Dennis Prager did a talk radio hour on how we actually never hold
true to that ideal. Most of us will never hear about our Great-Grandparents
and each succeeding generation will talk less and less of those old
relatives,as time passes on.
Born on Dec.5th when Hanukkah begins,I wish some Congressman
would introduce a bill to have a Walt Disney Day.
Like I said,Man this Country needs one.
Know it or not,We're fading as a Culture.
I Mean, when was the last time someone heard those sweet words...

Walt Disney !

I was too busy at the time to sit and watch it with them:mad:
But I still heard it and I can subtitle "Emperor's New Groove" without having to see it:lolhit:

Few things in Life are as important as watching a Disney classic.
