R Pants ... News ?
Well...kinda.
In my Grandfathers day { Turn of the century and into the Roaring 20's}
Men wore pante a couple inches beneath their Nipples.
In Me Pops day { WWII The Greatest generation 40's,50's,}
Men wore Dark slacks and around their Belly buttons.
In My { Oops Me } Day or 60's 70's the bluejeans were at or
below waist level.Many Rockers { Mick Jagger,Jimi Hendrix } wore
theirs Below the waist.Of course they had expensive,hand-tailored
pants.My First pair of Hippie pants were Corduroy Pink and woodn't
button around my waist,w/o me exhaling some air.I Bleached em
in certain parts and eventually cut { Actually had my neighbor bud's
Mom,sew em up } off around the thigh and had Blue jeans sewed
on,leaving the Pink Bottoms which were Bellbottoms.
So Todays Kids wan to have {wear} funny pants that hang down
around the crotch and need to be pulled up for dramatic effect.
I can Dig it.
No I can't.
I turned into a Fuddy-duddy juts like me Gramps & Pops.
It's the way Life Works.
That's Life...Not Sanyo.
Can ya Dig it.?

One don't HAVE to wear Pants in order to get noticed.

you know,I have to agree with you on the way kids wear their pants these days. It takes all I have to not go up to some punk and yank his pants up and belt them around his head. No one wants to see their nasty underwear or their buttcheeks rolling over the top of their jeans.
The girls are just as bad with their low rise jeans and their thong hanging out. Jeez......pull up your pants,no one wants to see that

I don't wear thongs and I'm not a fan of ultra-low jeans. My boyfriend wears pants that aren't baggy (but not really tight either, as has become trendy with certain groups of guys) and are definitely up on his waist.

Um...does he have any notion you are dressing him up on a
public forum.?

I don't mind the low rise jeans,I wear them myself only cause I can't stand anything squishing my stomach. It makes me want to puke.
The kind of jeans you described worn by your boyfriend are preferrable,they aren't so baggy they hang off the butt and not so tight everyone can see his business.

Exactly... I absolutely hate ultra tight pants on men. So unappealing.

Days of Wine and Roses
