Holy crap, that is fantastic!!

At first glance, I thought that maybe Gibson had come up with their own version of a Line 6 Variax guitar (http://line6.com/variax/)(one with tone/sound modeling, and automatic tuning via a purely digital process thru the amp).

I went to the Gibson website (http://www.gibson.com/robotguitar/index.html)however and found out that this robot guitar actually *mechanically* tunes itself, and (unlike the Variax) will continue be in tune even when strummed acoustically.
