As a leader in the Mormon church Mitt Romney has many times made the below covenant in the mormon temple.

"...you will be required to take upon yourselves sacred obligations, the violation of which will bring upon you the judgment of God; for God will not be mocked.
...so we should covenant to sacrifice all that we possess, even our own lives if necessary, in sustaining and defending the Kingdom of God.
...You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the Law of Consecration as contained in the Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.
Each of you bow your head and say yes."

It seems Mitt Romney has obligations whose authority supercedes the the constitution and whose interests may conflict with the constitution.

Mormons have a history of "lying for the lord". They will say one thing, but because it is for the Lord they will do something completely different.

Oh, nothing much really.

The founder of Romney's religion --a religion founded 177 years ago-- claims he found a set of golden plates that the "angel" Moroni had left there. Of course it was in special angelic script, so Joseph Smith --formerly convicted in New York of being a charlatan and imposter-- had to have special glasses so that he --and only he; sadly the "glasses" have been lost-- could read and interpret the plates. Those of Romney's religion believe --since Smith informed them of it-- that Independence, Missouri was the original site of the Garden of Eden. The adherents to Romney's religion go into their temples where they baptize, bless, ordain and marry the dead while dressed in their special Temple underwear.

Just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill religious obligations and ceremonies.

The LDS Church is naught but a cult, indeed, but that shouldn't bar Romney from being President. What should bar Romney from being President is the fact that he's an unmitigated douchebag who's wrong on pretty much everything I can think of.
