Dammit, dammit! What the hell is going on in this country? I always knew there was some corruption even in the government! I clearly remember that "Cash for peerages" scandal on the Downing Street that IMHO indicates that moral decadence and diminution of democracy has flooded not only America, but England as well. I never though however it could happen to football – our national pride! As I see, I was wrong and the police arrest Rednapp, Storrie and others over football corruption case.
I once read on some forum that the situation in our football is like a marker that indicates that things are worsening in England. Well, I must admit I cannot but agree with it. Negligence and corruption are everywhere and it affects our life resulting in various adversities like Northern Rock crisis, bird flue and foot-and-mouth disease outburst, terrorist attacks and so on and so forth. Now we've got corruption in football and I tend to think that it is all fault of British government that fails to set things to rights. Now we've got Gordon Brown but is he that good to better the conditions? I doubt that. At least, he has not done anything yet though he has been PM for half a year already. Besides, he is said to be some sort of a jinx, which we had a chance to learn at first hand. That's awful!
