China recently cancelled two prearranged port visits by two groups of U.S. Navy vessels at the last minute, with the most recent cancellation coming on Thanksgiving, dissappointing hundreds of families that flew to Hong Kong to visit with sailors.
China at first cited a "misunderstanding," and now says it is because of the U.S. selling arms to Taiwan and hosting the Dalai Lama.

That's nasty diplomacy if you ask me.
Between their ugly politics and contaminated products, I'm beginning to think we need to start boycotting the "Made in China" label.

I absolutely agree. We need to invigorate American industry and be a little more self-sufficient if you ask me, but even if I wasn't concerned about that I still wouldn't think China was the best trade partner in the world.

And anything made in US may export to China. Chinese will be surprised them because their components are creditability.
If Chinese will make imitations?
I don't know.:lolhit:

Definitely. I watched an interesting documentary recently called "What Would Jesus Buy?" Anyways, the subject of the doc was a tongue-in-cheek "church" run by a guy who literally preaches against materialism and buying corporate and foreign labels. Yes, and there actually is a congregation and they actually travel around and protest against a variety of corporate stores in the form of chanting invented "hymns" about why shopping is bad. His church is called the "Church of Stop Shopping" and their aim is to stop the "shopocalypse." Anyways, it was pretty damn funny and couldn't help agreeing with the preacher at the same time....well not completely (he was a bit extreme), but it was inspiring to see someone so passionate about the issue.
Oh well, I don't know why I'm talking about it...guess I just thought you might be able to appreciate something like that.
But yeah, we're pretty much in total agreement, so I don't have anything more interesting to add :)
