Did anyone watch the GOP debates last night? What did y'all think?
I have to say, I was fairly impressed with Giuliani. He gives well-reasoned answers. His only stance that is questionable for me is in regards to illegal immigration, but he's got a valid response in saying that he didn't have the power to do a whole lot as a mayor. President is another matter.
McCain was also good, but I've liked him for a long time.
Romney's answers bother the hell out of me, tho. I guess it's cause he's the fundie candidate, but his stance on just about every issue bothers me. He has to be my least favorite candidate among both Republicans and Democrats.
Ron Paul also interests me. Between his arguments and McCain's arguments, I can't decided what I think the right answer is for the Iraq War. However, there was a point when he couldn't think of the word "Kurds" and instead said the people of North Iraq. That was a little sad, IMO, for someone who takes such a strong stance against the Iraq War.
However, I noticed the debate never even mentioned environmental issues, which makes me lean further left.
