Thank you, Frogger.
Interesting images. I enjoyed viewing them.
Although, unlike you and rendova, I do not worship nor idolize ANY politicians anywhere, nor do so-called 'patriotic' pictures "touch my heart", lol...........so I can't really say that they "mean" anything to me or "touch me" like the pictures of flags and icons of America do for you and ren.
{p.s.; I am no supporter of Peter Kropotkin, nor any other communist}

Name one politician I've ever said I've idolized.
You cannot.
Wait, I take it back. I am kinda fond of Aaron Burr. Unfortunately, he died approx 200 years ago.
Remind me to place some flowers on his grave next time I visit New Jersey.
PS. Nice shot, Colonel Burr!

You know who was a pretty terrible guy? Andrew Jackson. His introduction of the desire for actual democracy was good, along with his opinions on states' rights... But if I were voting in 1824 I would've found it hard to vote for a man who encouraged his men to strip the flesh off of the Indians they had killed and bring it back to their wives and girlfriends as a gift. >_<

It baffles me as to why he's on a dollar bill.
