Cool! I don't think that God hates shrimp, I think that mankind is going to love them to extinction :)

Seventh-day Adventist Health Code and Dietary Restrictions

Seventh-day Adventists present a health message that recommends vegetarianism and condones abstinence from pork, shellfish, and other foods proscribed as "unclean" in Leviticus. Alcohol and tobacco are also prohibited.

"It considers itself a branch of Protestant Christianity, though differences in doctrine and practice have led some mainstream Christians to dispute that designation."Adventists believe in a triune god and believe in Jesus Christ as a personal saviour. So they are certainly Christians (protestant or not).

However they also believe that the 19th century racist plagerist Ellen White was a prophet, and adventism was born of the same 1844 "great disappointment" that spawned Jehovah's Witnesses, so I understand why some Christians feel a little uneasy with them

Why didn't someone ask why shellfish was an abomination? 'Cause if god provided a reasonable answer I'm sure people would be all nodding their head and say ah I see why he hates them shellfish.

They've recently changed their approach to that. I have no problems with some of the work they have done in the past in helping minorities.

Has I know it, they no longer see Jesus has the only way into Heaven. They are now preaching that everyone gets into Heaven.
I could be wrong.

Has for shellfish, it is or was against Jewish law to eat it, only because it was no where near has clean has it is now.

I could be wrong. Are you sure? They don't believe in hell - you go to heaven or get destroyed by god's light. Perhaps you're thinking of that(?)

/you wrote "as" "has"!?!

I have a problem with has and as, I know one is past tense, but does has ever work out to be the same as have?

God's light? That could be right too.
I haven't researched it, I have talked to a few of them and they told me that no one goes to hell, so I might have made the assumption everyone goes to Heaven.

Inviolable, just so that there is no confusion here, you are completely "Out of Hand"! I think that you need a nap. :)

How is anyone going to carry on a normal conversation with you stirring things up?! :)

Just for the record guys, nobody goes to Hell untill after the thousand year rein of Christ. Everything happening today is just us Christians waiting and predicting the beginning of that time. Which by the way is only a Christian concept. Only us Christians have it. And only we Christians are waiting for it. Nobody else is, unless we Christians can talk them into being a Christian by our words and/or our example.

And you have succeeded my friend. And luckly placing Humankind in your hands, is a gift to the survival of all.

Afinertouch :) just for the record, I have kicked in a reality where you are screwed. By the time you figure out what has happened, it is going to be to late.

Only Sal will ever understand what I did. I can't get around her, she is way to smart.

I love shrimp, but not in a romantic or sexual fashion.
Just 'love', as in I love to eat shrimp. Batter fried, grilled, or boiled. I love 'em.

So I'm probably not going to Hell, though Purgatory is a strong possibility.

Hi Sparky! And yes you are going to "Hell", along with the rest of us that party on this messageboard. :)

I could live on shrimp and do not care what size that they come in! At the sametime they are folk and this is about life and we are all apart of it.

Ah yes the "nibble nibble." Only the needy attempt to hunt anything to extinction :) Even if it is good food :)

Sparky, relative to my experience with this sort of stuff, you are going to end up in "Paradise" and have to deal with 50 to 70 virgins :) God but I am glad that it is you and not me :) !

Love you!
