This might be in the "games" section.. but since it deals with sports, i think the people in this forum will enjoy it much more.

I downloaded a super nintendo emulator online, and then downloaded the game Tecmo Super Bowl... and i played it a few times and got the idea of trying to put up the most lucrative stats a quarterback has ever put up.

So I chose the San Francisco 49ers as my team (remember, this is 1993).. so I have Steve Young airing it out to Jerry Rice, John Taylor, and Brent Jones. So Far I have played 3 games, and here are my murderous statistics.

Steve Young:
66 completions out of 79 attempts (83% Completion)
2,743 yards
34.7 yards per completion
32 Touchdown passes
0 interceptions

Jerry Rice:
29 Receptions
1,641 Yards
22 Touchdowns
56.6 Yards per reception

Brent Jones:
22 Receptions
909 Yards
8 Touchdowns
41.3 Yards per reception

John Taylor hasn't done much, havn't needed him.

This past game, Steve Young threw for 1,050 yards... that was the number i was aiming for. I was hoping i could get a QB to throw for over 1,000 yards in 1 game. The other two games I threw for over 800.

On the Sega Genesis version of Tecmo, I dominated almost every game I ever played. On the NES version, my latest season finished at a disappointing 8-8. That one, IMO, is much tougher to play.
