Yes, freedom isn't free. I've heard that all my life. The problem is, our military is not engaged in the struggle for freedom. We attacked a country that posed no threat to us. (Now it is evident there were no WMDs ... exactly what the UN Inspectors were telling us... and Saddam wanted Iran to think he had nukes to prevent Iran from attacking him...) Now Darth Vader Cheney and his henchmen are wanting us to attack yet another country that poses no threat to us - Iran. What a shame. Have we gone crazy?

A lot of situations are not free. I saw where the Iraq/Afgan war has cost the U.S. appx: 2 trillion dollars. Which I believe was borrowed from Saudi, Japan, and China.

If you are good at math, how much does each American owe at this point?

Look at what is happening in Pakistan. This is what Bush wants to do here. Bush has already shreded the 4th, 6th, and 8th amendments to our Constitution, and the dimwitted Democrats have sat by and allowed it to happen. Shame on them....

I personally Like Fox legal Analyst Judge Napolitiano but disagree
highly with his new book -- Constitution in EXILE: How the Federal
Government has Seized Power By ... -- which may hinge a little
too much on famous words like Benjamin Franklin and," sacrificing
essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety ".That may
be disconcerting and inappropriate, especially given the dire
straights this Country was put in,after 9/11.

However the Judge also explains a very important lesson in
History. How Government has grown over time, citing key laws and
Supreme Court decisions that were insulting to the original intent
of our founding fathers.
Lest I remind many, that Our Founders are No longer with us.
And it may be highly incumbent for a New Founding.
One based on Continuation.Life if nothing else is a Continuum.
An onward cycle of striving for More or Better or just mere
existence.
I doubt a Founding Father ever envisioned a Breed of Terrorist, sheerly
Hellbent consumed with the annihiliation of anyone not a party to their
extremism.

More than they will ever be able to repay.

IOW........it's over. Or soon will be.

The American Empire has met its match in the abysmal leadership of B*sh and Company. It is on its last legs.

The dollar is set to collapse and this country is about to be forced into bankruptcy.........and thus into Third World status.

I was thinking about a couple of things.

Not that long ago I said somewhere else,

that Bush was responsible for the hike in world oil prices,

the response was me being attacked by the 'guts and glory gang'

accusing me of not knowing what Im talking about.

Secondly-I was/am following that thread about healthcare.

I find it hard to follow at times as I dont pay for healthcare as a direct bill-
but thru my 'income tax'.

In the North here-we pay a lump sum of tax on are income-then the gov pays the bills outta it-sort of.

Absolutely NO comparrison,whatsoever.
Our Pres was a Businessman,Fighter pilot,graduated TWO
highly elite University,Ran Ameirica's Great Pastime with a
major league baseball team and maybe pulled back a few
brewski.
Clinton not only Tried Pot but also did Coke with his Drug dealing
brother in Arkansas.I remember reading in The American Spectator
a Landlord recounting how Bill would go over to Visit Roger at his
apartment and the snortin could be heard, through the walls.

Bush doesn't make a practice of appearing LATE like was the
practice of Slick Willy at Press Conferences.
Bush isn't a big toothy braggart.
Bush doesn't have a lustfull roaming perverts eye.
There isn't ONE allegation of sexual impropriety with Our current pres.
Bush can throw a much better first pitch at the start of baseball
season.Could probably drink that Scumbags Clinton undewr the table
and Out-skeet him with a firearm.
All Clinton is and was good for is laughin at.Whether it bee his
goofy toothy self-gratifying grin or way he tries to suck-up
to a crowd by tellin tall tales.
