High around freezing, lows in the teens... It's been snowing all day. Not too hard mostly, but steadily for the past 10 hours. I guess we've got 2-3 inches right now, and it's supposed to go for another 4 hours or so.

This is odd weather for this time of year. It gets this cold but we generally don't get any accumulation of snow until after Christmas, and it's especially a lot for the first snow of the year.

Not too heavy... Although I spose you don't get much snow up there. Later in the winter, January through March, we get heavier storms. A few years ago we got 3 feet in like 36 hours. Mostly they don't go above a foot to a foot and a half at a time. Ice storms are the worst though.... if it's right at freezing we get that crappy "wintry mix" of snow/sleet/freezing rain. That's much worse for walking and driving.

Some years we dont get any snow.

The colder it gets the less chance of it.

Its very wet right now,and another storm rolling in,th second this week :)

It's cold here but not raining today. There were 5 deaths on Monday because of the storm. Lots of mudslides that buried people and one poor 81 year old guy got swept away in a river that came up to his house.

One man died when the respirator he was on failed when the power went out.

There is still 7 feet of water covering parts of I-5 (between Olympia and Oregon) and many trucking companies are losing millions of dollars because of it.
