"And why didn't the American police catch the people who were planting bombs in Cuba and put them in prison? If they kill people they are bad, and the American police should put the bad ones in prison."

Another slanted piece by Shaman.

Of course the Americans were trying to get people to plant bombs and kill people in Cuba. That has happened so often, right, Shaman. Bombs are going off all over Cuba, killing innocent people.

I never thought I would come across an American who hated his own country more than Freethinker does but you have him beat by a mile.

anything bad that happens in Cuba is caused by US terrorists, just ask Castro.

I fail to see how the unvarnished truth can be said to be "slanted".

Often?

I don't know.

Has it happened? Yes.

The man (one of them anyway) that you are defending, former CIA operative Luis Posada Carriles, has already been convicted of hijacking and murder in Venezuela and Panama. And now he has been set free.

Earth to Travh20---

What this thread is based on is not opinion, but fact.

FACT:

The US is harboring a known terrorist, Luis Posada Carriles, (who --big surprise-- just happens to have been a CIA operative) while it supposedly fights a "war on terror".

Put THAT in your fucking pipe and smoke it, Einstein.

the sad thing is, you call everone in the adminstratin a terrorist so when you call someone a terrorist it really has no meaning anymore.

Neither can I and as soon as Shaman posts some unvarnished truth I will agree with him. As long as he continues to post his anti-American diarheah I will call it what it is.

a) aside from the fact that my primary point is that the people --the powers that be-- who run this country are ones who are the planet's most successful terrorists, B*sh is the only one in the administration I have actually refered to as a terrorist.

b) "terrorist" still has the same meaning it has always had.

Good.

He just did.

And the unvarnished truth is that:

The US is harboring a known, convicted terrorist, Luis Posada Carriles, (who was a CIA operative) while it supposedly fights a "war on terror".
