LOL... southpark isn't even politically-centered.. they don't lean with one party, they just make fun of everybody who deserves it. If anything they have ripped the radical left far more than the religious right.. but both have been completely demolished by some of the best satire and ingenious jokes i've ever seen. They are right up there with the Simpsons in their prime.

Get with the times, Decka, South Park has it's own political following:

I definitely noticed that they ripped the left more than the right, but making fun of Jesus and Bush and Mel Gibson and Bono... all people who supposedly connect with the religious and fundamental right because of their political, religious, or idealogical beliefs shows that nobody is safe when it comes to Southpark.

As for Gibson and Bush, how can you not rip them? :)

IMO, South Park has kinda gone a little over the top. Some of the shows just seem a little too far-fetched or way out there to be all that funny. It's more of a "WTF" kind of funny, but I still watch it anyway.

I think it's a brilliant show, and it's JMO here, but I think they lean more to the right, politically speaking, than they do to the left. In all fairness, they do rip both sides, but if you're a fan like I am, then most likely, you have 90% of the seasons on DVD. Listen to what they - it's pretty cut and dried IMHO.
Cartman rules, BTW. Best character EVER CREATED, period.
