Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....so, all-of-a-sudden.....character & compassion are non-issues, for Bush-supporters, huh?
Lemme guess......it's because of National-Security-issues, right?

Its a little bit late in the day to be talking about impeachment, his time is nearly done,ya really need to make sure he dosent force thru a euroshield that nobody wants or attacks Iran, which obody wants before his time is up.
History will be the judge of Bush,as long as an American dosent write it.

Mr. S... obviously getting Dickless Cheney (or Dickhead) out would be essential. How about two for one and get our first woman President, Nancy Peloski. (Perhaps that is what she is afraid of, thus her comments impeachment is off the table. Has she forgotten the Constitution and her obligation to enforce checks and balances????)

No surpise there.
The Rightwingers in this nation are the most unrelievedly hypocritical group of humans to ever inhabit the planet.
They will natter on endlessly during the campaigns and after the time their man is installed about how the nation is in such dire need of character and compassion and honor from the politican they choose.......then, a short time later, when their chosen leader demonstrates himself to be totally devoid of any of those characteristics, their attitude suddenly transforms into one of --""Ehhh, who cares. Big deal".
They watch, like the pack of dimwitted drones that they are, as he lies the nation into a disastrous war, and they care nothing --nothing-- about it.
This pack of gibbering idiots only become incensed when the leaders are exposed as having been involved in something truly monstrous that threatens the future of the nation........like placing their penis in a naughty, naughty place.

Hilarious, brother Freethinker. Very entertaining, and really well written. Political commentary really is your forte', I must say.
Except for your over-dependence on vowels and consonants, and a strangely sentimental attachment to syntax and punctuation, I would say that you have effectively communicated your message using nearly all the letters of the alphabet.
Next time, don’t be so stingy with the Z’s, X’s, and Q’s. And throw in an ümlaut or two for effect.

Mr. Shaman sir,
Your employment of the devices of bold font, underlining, and the vivid blue and red for suspenseful effect are simply smashing.
It really helps to undescore the urgency of your message, and carries the ball across the goal line each and every time! I never tire of reading your postings, and I think it's your flair for the dramatic that does it for me.
Keep up the good work, friend Shaman, and the best of luck to you in all your web-forum endeavors!!

Let's try to be a little-more compassionate, here.
You do realize that refutation is a direct-result of thinking-things-thru, right(?).....and, everyone's all-too-aware of conservatives' predisposition to severe-headaches, when they kick-in the ol' gray-matter.

:smile2:
'Simpleminded fucking clown?"
That was very much uncalled for sir.
You and I don't agree on politics, that is true.
(I am apolitical, and you are admittedly and rabidly political to an extreme.)
But I can't recall any point in time where I resorted to rude name-calling.
And to the matter of 'refutation'?
Since when is there ever any room for debate with you?
Someone either buys into your world view (all Americans are bumbling, moronic Godz-n-Gunz stooges, the President is an evil liar, and Dick Cheney manufactured this war in order to make his oil rich friends even richer) or they are your enemy, and therefore the object of your scorn and disdain.
You leave no room for debate sir.
This is precisely why I rarely visit the 'politics' forum here on allforums.net.
There's no political discussion going on, just a lot of extreme far left or far right posturing, insults, sales pitches for the extreme fringes, and cut-n-paste jobs from other rabid hate sites.
I only visit here every now and then, in order to see whether a fresh breeze is blowing. And by the looks of things, things are the same as usual; stale, hateful, and predictable. It's as sad as it is insulting.

And you, Mr. Shaman?
You I can understand, and maybe even respect a little.
At least you admit that you are a cheerleader for the Hillary Clinton campaign, and therefore your non-stop linking to other 'hate-Bush, hate-the war, and and over-all hate conservatism' websites has some clearly-defined end game; getting your favorite couple back into the White House.
I don't agree with you, nor do I believe in your idyllic concept of an end-state, but I at least get where you are coming from.
As to your statement above, "You do realize that refutation is a direct-result of thinking-things-thru, right(?).....and, everyone's all-too-aware of conservatives' predisposition to severe-headaches, when they kick-in the ol' gray-matter"? Please don't lump me into any convenient group or category sir. I am neither a conservative nor a liberal. And I don't care for the polarizing nature of your postings. Not everyone falls into one of two extreme categories, Dems or Republicans, etc. It's not all black and white, and there are a lot of grays.
Uncomfortable, complicated grays.

Yeah. Right. You are SO prim and proper.
But before you get too firmly seated on the saddle of that high horse, I would direct your attention to the time (which you now seemingly "can't recall") when you suggested that I was in need of psychiatric help. That's a far more insulting and hateful thing to do to someone than jokingly calling another poster a "clown".

We're both adults here, FT.
The insinuation that somebody who posts in a monomaniacal and angry fashion (to the exclusion of nearly every other topic) just might benefit from some psychiatric help was not intended as an insult.
It was simply a statement of fact.
Call somebody an asshat, fucktard, or simple-minded fucking clown, that is definitely an insult.
Luckily I've got thick skin, an unusually high IQ, and in no way resemble a clown, or else my feelings would be hurt.

Not splitting hairs, but just about everyone could benefit from the fresh, objective perspective that a psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, counselor, or marriage counselor can offer.
I myself suffer from an almost pathological anger (not unlike that you feel toward this President and this Government), but my anger is toward another person who wronged me last year, and the Government bureacrats who allowed a series of injustices to occur, related to this person and myself.
The problem and the situation has been resolved, but the anger is still there.
I truly wish this person harm, though I would never break the law in order to settle the score.
Quite a quandary.
I am man enough to say that I probably will go seek some counseling for an anger that I can't put away, and don't know what to do with.

Divorce, huh?
No sir.
I worked for some morally-bankrupt Government Servants, and was asked to 'look the other way' regarding some instances of fraud, instead of dutifully reporting the fraud. I reported it anyway, and was ultimately retaliated against.
My career, paycheck, and reputation ultimately survived unscathed, but my dignity was damaged. I left that organization in disgust, and am now happily working for an organization with standards, integrity, and admirable leaders.
I still carry a lot of anger inside me, toward the people involved & toward one in particular. (Daydreams of this person being hit by a car and dying painfully are not uncommon.) If I find that, after another six months or so, I still have this much poison in my belly, I will likely go see a shrink for some advice.

Hey.....living well is the best revenge (and, a Helluva lot-less-stressful). Sounds like you're already there. Sticking-to-your-guns isn't always the most profitable-route, but.....your real-friends could almost give-a-fuck, about that.
Smoke a joint.....learn to enjoy the fact you've (actually) enhanced your credibility.....and (at every opportunity), flip-off your ex-peers :upyours: .....knowing full-and-well you're out-o'-there, and they're still treading the chin-deep bullshit!
Ya' think they're sleeping any better, at night.....realizing they're incapable of showing the balls you have???

Thanks for the perspective.
Truth be told, these people I'm talking about probably sleep quite well at night. They're so immersed in a morally-bankrupt Government Servant culture (I don't have to work, and you can't fire me), they got it all rationazed and compartmentalized quite conveniently in their little minds.
Kinder-gentler-politically-correct-afraid to hear the truth- and utterly without scruples. Yeah, they sleep like babies.
I'm off now. Headed to the woods to commune with nature, and enjoy a campfire. Have a good day!!
