I was watching a show last night about WWII, and it was showing all the Japanese-Americans getting rounded up and taken to those internment camps. Of course I had always known about it, but it struck me as really shocking.

How would everyone feel if the government today said that they were going to take all the Iraqi and Afghani citizens in this country and put them in camps?

I don't personally know any, but I do know plenty of Iranians, and most of them don't speak Farsi, aren't Muslim, and couldn't be further removed from their ancestors in Iran. They're as much Iranians as I am Italian.

It was a differnet time, we were in a state of total war. Looking back it was a horrible thing to do, and at the time I am sure it was too, but it happened, we learned from it, they got reperations.
I would not rule out a return of the camps here though. If the shit really hits the fan and suitcase nukes start going off, it may happen.
