It has come to my attention that a lot of guys here are on Allforums during the time of day that most people are normally at work.

Some posters work shift and some are retired or off sick,maybe even unemployed,but the rest of ya...................

How is any work getting done in America tut tut,
own up,who flips on when nobodys looking.

I can't normally post at work, because I'm at a job site, but if I find myself returning to my place for whatever reason, I'll always pop in and check the thread's I'm having pissing contests in, and maybe post a short reply or two. I also get off work early a lot. Home's the first stop, so I can take a shower, then I'll post some before I go do whatever I have to do, which is usually hitting up my favorite coffee shop.

I work from home so I can check in at will,but usually don't until I make myself quit for the day. Like right now,I'm done for the day....or would be if I had work to do today.....my daughters are doing homework so I am checking on some stuff on here and other sites.

I am recovering from a on the job accident. I wake up come on here and spend the better part of the afternoon,reading posts usually. Most times i get thirsty and hsve a few drinks.....late afternoon early evening i usually have to take a nap due to the spining room and the medication (oxy is a rough drug and they are not playing when they say dont mix with alcohol) i get back up in the evening and usually am thirsty and check back on here untill i need to close one eye to read the screen.

I'm the boss, so I do pretty much as I please. Besides, I don't monitor my employee's computer activities, unless I find the work not getting done.

Yeah LF.I would flick on about 7-7:30am before going out,and Ive noticed your always around,that would be about 1-1:30am with you.

I don't work. I'm independantly wealthy and self sufficient, I just have to remember when I have to roll over my CD's.

Its a hard life

I'm at home Tuesday and Thursday, and usually out on Friday nights and Saturdays until late, sometimes on Sundays til evening. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I have classes, but if I bring my computer to school I can post during my break from 9-10 and after my classes end at 1. Then I get home on school days at 4:30.

If u have your break from 9-10,what time does class start.

I am off on medical leave right now I would rather be at work to tell the truth.
Even when I was at work I had lots of paper work to do so always had my laptop up too and AF on it hehe checking in time to time.

I don't work and I don't sleep much. You will see me logged on at 3 in the morning, 5 in the morning or around midnight. My time is pretty much my own. I won't be posting for two weeks starting tomorrow afternoon because I will be on vacation. (Can you call it a vacation if you don't work?) Let's just say I will be traveling.

I'm taking four classes right now, all 50 minutes long on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I have Psychology from 8:00 to 8:50, a break after that, American History I (that's from colonial times through the Civil War) from 10:00 to 10:50, European History (Fall of Rome to 1600s) from 11:00 to 11:50, and Intro to the Study of Religion from 12:00 to 12:50. Then I hang around school with my friends until my step-mom gets off of work at 3:30 and comes to pick me up, then we go and pick up my sister from her after school daycare and we get home around 4:30.

i'm sort of on light-duty because of an on-the-job accident too. sometimes i'm off all week, sometimes i put in 60 hours.

I do shifts and usually have time to log in and read or post before my next class. Some weeks I don't teach and have more time to post, and other weeks I double up, I try to work around their schedules, and I don't get much time.
If accept a job offer presented to me, I won't have time for anything but dancing.

I'm just a slacker that believes in stealing time from the company and wasting it on the internet. I pretty much have a worthless position and dont do anything anyway. Or so my employees tell me.

My time is my own.

I'm semi-retired and have been for about 7 years.

When at work I have no access to a PC anyway.

I think that's why they let me semi-retire...if you asked anyone at work they would say I was compleeeeeeetely crazy down to the last man. I seem to like it that way! :D

Paul thinks some of us post too much so I am going to punish myself. In a short while I am going to stop posting for two weeks. I might even get a cat-o-nine-tails and flaggelate my back until it bleeds. I must repent and punish myself for posting too much.

I do software development and I'm alone in my office on my computer all day, so I can come on AFN any time. I don't really consider this unproductive since if I am way ahead of schedule, let's say faster than our sales team can get me projects, I'll just have nothing to do anyway.
