What will become the tallest building in the United States,the Chicago Spire,has been unvieled by Dublin Company Shelbourne Developments.

Due to be completed in 2011 it will stand at just over 600m.

The article he linked to was dated today.

Looks like a cool structure. Calatrava is a good architect. He designed the art museum addition that was completed in Milwaukee in 2001.

Yes, but I've known about the Chicago Spire, and seen that picture, for months. Maybe it's just because I live here, I dunno.

As I recall, it's to be 150 stories tall and be right on the lakefront, on LSD. Should be interesting when it's done.

Looks to me to be a bit symbolistic

of the screwing were giving the rest of the world
