Popularizers bring ‘Power to the People’
Popularizer is a word I heard historian William Norton Smith use when discussing American Presidents on C-Span. He did not elaborate significantly but it was apparent to me that he used the word to describe individuals who make popular the books of authors who write about significant concepts that are seldom disseminated throughout the population.
Our educational system prepares us to become good producers and consumers. However, in the name of efficiency, our educational system leaves us ignorant of many domains of knowledge that are vital to our comprehension of matters that seriously affect the health of our culture and of the world. Psychology is just one example of such a domain.
Mr. Smith and I agree that it is essential that someone carry to the people these vital concepts that I mention.
Do you have any desire to be a popularizer?
Isn’t the Internet discussion forum an ideal medium for popularizers to perform their function?

I guess that more than one million individuals visit an Internet discussion forum each day.
Off the top of my head I guess that there are more than 100 Internet discussion boards and that there are on average 15 forums per board. I also guess that every day more than 100 thousand members visit their board.

Hi Coberest :) It is me again :)
If you are having a problem with the people, then how does your message miss "power" to those people?
We have a "Body Reality", we have a "Sex Reality", we have a "Power Reality", and we have a "Love Reality". They are all separate approaches to separate realities. And these four realities are your masses :)
Nappy is a "Sex muffin", he carries "Power", and he is a "bulked Up Body". The only thing that Nappy is missing is "Love", to have complete appeal. And he don't require that people swim :) (he ain't intellectual).

The answer to this question is "Yes!" But do you understand the psychology of your audience? And you are playing with an audience with individual levels of understanding. Oh and this, you are playing in an old established messageboard :) we do have the "Grandfathered" in here.
The thing that makes a "Self Actualized" person what they are is "adaptability". Not just the fact that they are intellectual. A true "self actuallized" person can step into any audience and play. Yes, not everyone may not love them, but everyone will be challenged in some sense of the word "challenged". :) Ok?
Coberst, I love your message and I love your persistence! And yes you should be here studing the masses :) I think so :) You will find the real masses on all Forums.net. They live here :) !
Coberst if you can play here, you can play anywhere. And everybody else will be eazy :)
You are loved!

Hi LF :) you are developing into an interesting personality.
No I don't live in Houston :)
The world is full of Nappys, it is almost like they are stamped out in some kind of assembly line and have been for thousands of years. When it comes to Nappys, they are standard issue and are everywhere.
About checking out other threads: Too much Tucker58 is not a good thing :) and some folks whould even go so far as to say, "Any amount of Tucker58 is not a good thing!" :) LF, Sparky cuts me alot of slack, he just does. So I try to show my appreciation by running minimal presence :) There is a method to my madness so to speak :) I hope that answers your question.
