My only conclusion to reading the above post is that hopefully the Bush Administration has seen that the PAL moderates need to be supported to try and isolate the radical Hamas who have gained the electoral support of Gaza people with they're free education and free health care systems.
The US would need to pressurize Israel into behaving themselves and acting in good faith,a tall order.

This is window dressing, Paul. The U.S. will declare that it is in favor of a Palestinian State and Israel will continue its illegal actions and the U.S. will acquiece as always.
