I use Oilve oil every single day.
An I have to say...I don't love the stuff.
By itself,it has no taste other than greasy and oily.
I've tried and Lordy knows,when I try,I try.
But I cannot understand nor appreciate what the hubbub over
the taste of Olive oil is.It's The only oil,for Sautee'ing.
But that doesn't equate to tasting good by itself.
Kinda like Butter.By itself,it has taste,but not much.
Not like Mayo.

The problem exists that one can easily get conned into buying those
really espensive Olive Oils.A good Extra Virgin and even a
First cold-pressing is all one needs.It goes pretty far with just a
few dollops in a sautee pan.
Butter burns real quick.
